Picture Perfect: Fire and Ice

Sunset in Franklin Park

Last week (when there wasn’t as much snow on the ground as there is now) I caught a shot of the sunset in Franklin Park – near the preserved open space on South Middlebush Road.

The fiery sun in the distance reminded me that the frozen ground and bare branches won’t stay that way for long…

Enjoy your Sunday!

Picture Perfect: Shopping by Sunset in NJ

Shopping by Sunset in NJ

New Jersey is known for having a lot of malls.  In fact, according to www.50states.com, North Jersey has the most shopping malls in one area in the world – seven major shopping malls just in a 25 sq. mile radius!  Additionally, there are plenty of strip malls throughout the state to help you find pretty much anything your heart desires.  I’ve certainly become accustomed to knowing that I can take a rather short trip and find whatever it is I’m looking for.  To me, these malls are the contemporary translation of our state’s significant industrial history and part of the New Jersey charm.

Here is a photo that I took while shopping at the Franklin Towne Center mall in Franklin Park, NJ…
